Béa, adolescente volontaire et fille d'un réalisateur réputé, a réussi à convaincre Michel, responsable de l'association «Rêve d'enfant», de l'aider à réaliser un film le temps des vacances pour faire une surprise à son père. Pour ce faire, elle lui a révélé être en phase terminale d'une maladie incurable. Michel a réuni une équipe de comédiens et techniciens pleins de bonne volonté et d'admiration pour le courage et la conviction de la petite. Ensemble, ils tournent «Swamp !» un film d'horreur poussif et naïf. Dans cette atmosphère rudimentaire et bucolique, les nerfs sont mis à rude épreuve. La technique n'est pas toujours irréprochable.
